Social
Phi Psi is on being one of the most active social fraternities at USC. Each semester Phi Psi holds the biggest registered parties with over 3,000 people in attendance. Phi Psi hosts an annual formal invite to Las Vegas, in addition to invites and exchanges with USC sororities.
FROST
Phi Psi’s FROST party, held every October, draws some 3,000 people through the front doors and into the snow-covered house. Whether it be the four stadium flood lights on the lawn illuminating the sky, the 50 foot Matterhorn Mountain built on top of the study center, the snow machines, or laser light show, FROST is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most well-regarded party of any college fraternity.
Cast Away
What better way to celebrate the end of the school year and bring in hot LA sun than with Phi Psi’s spring party, Cast Away, held every April. Think FROST – but the opposite. Thousands of palm fronds cover the walls of the house and nearly 5 tons of sand create an island oasis in the courtyard. If that’s not enough, the enormous volcano sets the atmosphere with timed eruptions.
Invites
Phi Psi kicks off each semester with an “invite” – where Brothers take their dates out for a night at one of the hottest clubs or bars in Los Angeles.
Formal
Last fall, Phi Psi became the only fraternity at USC to hold a fall formal, where Brothers and their dates traveled for a weekend party at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. In the upcoming fall 2010, Phi Psi plans to hold another Formal, which is currently in the planning process.
Exchanges
Each semester, Phi Psi holds exchanges with sororities. Our most recent exchanges have been with Kappa Kappa Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Phi, and Delta Gamma.
